# How to Log In, Access, and Use Elate on Any Device

> Learn how to log in to Elate at app.elateuk.com, use the Remember Account option, and add Elate to your mobile home screen for faster access.

Elate runs entirely in your web browser — there is no separate app to download or install. You access it by visiting [app.elateuk.com](https://app.elateuk.com) on any device. This means you can log in from your phone between visits, from a tablet at the start of your shift, or from a desktop computer in the office. The experience is consistent across all devices.

## Logging In

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Your Browser">
    On your phone, tablet, or computer, open your preferred web browser (such as Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox) and go to:

    **[app.elateuk.com](https://app.elateuk.com)**

    This will take you directly to the Elate login screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter Your Credentials">
    On the login screen, enter:

    * Your **email address** (this is your username)
    * Your **password**

    If you are logging in from a device that you use regularly and do not share with others, you can tick the **Remember Account** option. This saves your email address on that device so you do not have to type it in every time.
  </Step>

    **On iPhone:** Scroll down in the Share menu and tap **Add to Home Screen**. Give it a name (such as "Elate") and tap **Add**.

    **On Android:** Tap **Add to Home screen** or **Install app** from the menu. Confirm by tapping **Add**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open Elate from Your Home Screen">
    You will now see the Elate icon on your phone's home screen. Tap it to open the platform directly, without needing to open a browser and type in the address each time.

<Tip>
  Adding Elate to your home screen is especially useful if you are a support worker or carer who checks in and out of visits on the go. It saves time and reduces the chance of accidentally going to the wrong page.
</Tip>

## Signing Out

When you have finished using Elate, always sign out — especially if you are on a shared or public device. To sign out, click your **account name** in the navigation menu and select **Log Out** from the dropdown.
