The June 2026 release is one of Elate’s most substantial updates yet. You’ll find major improvements across support planning, scheduling, care packages, and finance — alongside a refreshed rota view, new export options, and a wave of targeted bug fixes that sharpen day-to-day reliability.

What’s New

Support Plan Versioning

Support plans now maintain a full version history every time they are updated. Changes are tracked over time so you always work from the latest version, and you can review what changed between revisions.

Priority & Review Dates on Support Plans

You can now set a priority level and a review date on each support plan. This makes it easier to keep plans current and to flag those that are due for review before they go stale.

Smarter Support Activity Creation

Creating a support activity now validates the tasks you add and automatically generates a clear, consistent support plan name. This reduces manual steps and catches errors before you save.

More Flexible Care Packages

Care packages now give you much greater scheduling control:
  • Schedule packages using effective-date options so changes take effect at the right time.
  • Edit packages with built-in schedule validation and clearer error messages when conflicts arise.
  • Add tasks to several packages at once instead of updating them one by one.

Share Client Schedules by Email or PDF

You can now send a client’s schedule directly from the calendar view, or download it as a PDF to share externally or print for handover. No more screenshots or manual exports.

Client Profiles & Activity Exports

Client profile and package flows have been refreshed for a cleaner experience. You can also export support activity data for your own records and reporting needs.

Check-in Confirmation Warnings

Carers now see a confirmation warning before completing a check-in. This extra step helps prevent accidental or mistimed check-ins from appearing in your records.

Improved Rota & Timeline View

The rota timeline has been significantly improved for everyday use:
  • The layout adapts to your screen size, so it works well on both desktop and mobile.
  • Frozen headers keep the day and name columns visible while you scroll horizontally.
  • Double-scrolling has been removed, making navigation much smoother.
  • A Today button on mobile takes you back to the current day with a single tap.

Finance Dashboard

The Finance page is now called the Finance Dashboard, with tidier navigation across the app. The rename reflects the growing set of financial tools available in Elate.

Bug Fixes

  • Scheduling & Calendar — Fixed group-activity calendar behaviour, rota navigation syncing, and the calendar “Today” and schedule dates. Custom schedule dates are now validated correctly, recurring events appear in the right date range, double-scrolling has been removed, and drag-and-drop of unassigned activities plus cancelled-event icons now behave reliably.
  • Support Activity Layout — Restored the activity summary panel on the desktop Create Support Activity screen and improved the layout on mobile so key information is no longer cut off.
  • Tasks & Recipients — Support recipient tasks now filter correctly. Team members can see their assigned client tasks, and packages default to sorting by created date.
  • Profiles & Display — Fixed the team member detail view and corrected the styling of cancelled cards on the client calendar so they are visually distinct from active events.
