The November 2025 release marks a significant milestone for Elate: the launch of the integrated Finance Module. Alongside that, this update introduces group activity scheduling, expense and mileage reporting, improved notes tools, and a series of fixes that address reliability issues across the mobile app, scheduling, and support plans.

What’s New

New Group Activity Function

A new Group Event Type is now available in the schedule, allowing your team to schedule and manage group-based sessions for multiple clients in a single event. This removes Elate’s previous limitation to individual client sessions and opens up support for group programme scenarios.

Finance Module Launch

This release introduces the first version of Elate’s integrated Finance Module, covering:
  • Reporting — visibility into service activity and financial performance.
  • Invoicing — a streamlined invoicing process tied directly to support activities.
  • Contract Management — clearer handling of client contracts alongside financial records.
Together these capabilities establish a reliable end-to-end workflow for managing financial operations, with further automation and reporting enhancements planned for future releases.

Expense and Mileage Reporting

Your team can now record, review, and manage out-of-pocket costs and mileage claims directly within Elate. The new workflow provides clearer visibility of expense activity and a consistent input process, so claims are captured accurately rather than tracked separately outside the platform.

Notes Search and Export

You can now search client notes using keywords to find the exact record you need without scrolling through history. Notes can also be exported as a CSV file, making it straightforward to produce documentation or share records with external stakeholders.

Cancel Support — Notes Popup

A confirmation popup now appears whenever a support session is being cancelled. This ensures that cancellation notes are captured consistently by staff rather than left blank.

Overtime & Unavailability Editing Improvements

The editing interfaces for Overtime and Unavailability entries have been reorganised for better usability, making it quicker to update records without navigating multiple steps.

Bug Fixes

  • Mobile App Freezing — Fixed an issue where the mobile app occasionally froze during support activity creation.
  • Past Activity Status Not Updating — Resolved inconsistencies where past activities failed to update to the correct status after completion or cancellation.
  • Unexpected Logout on Schedule Refresh (Chrome) — Users are no longer logged out automatically when their schedule refreshes in Chrome.
  • Recurring Visit Conversion — Improved reliability when converting a one-time visit into a recurring visit, preventing data loss during the conversion.

  • Paragraph Spacing & Line Breaks in Notes — Notes and descriptions now correctly display line breaks and paragraph spacing as entered.
  • Support Plan Interface Stability — Enhanced reliability when viewing and reviewing changes within Support Plans.
  • Support Plan Review Counter — The Support Plan review task counter now shows an accurate count instead of a static number.
  • Support Plan “Actions” Button Label — Standardised the Actions button label to ensure consistency across all Support Plan views.
  • Support Plan Change Alerts — Removed unnecessary system alerts triggered by Support Plan modifications.
  • Finance Report Filters — Status and contract filters in the Finance Report now work reliably and return accurate results.
  • Risk Assessment PDF Formatting — Risk Assessment PDFs now generate with consistent and readable formatting throughout.
