Whether you have forgotten your password or you have just received a temporary one from your organisation and need to set something permanent, the process is the same. Elate’s password reset flow takes just a few minutes and is accessible directly from the login page — you do not need to be signed in to use it.
1

Go to the Elate login page

Open Elate in your browser and navigate to the login page.
2

Click Forgot Password

Find the Forgot Password link at the bottom right of the screen, directly underneath the Sign In button, and click it.
3

Enter your registered email address

Type in the email address that your organisation used to set up your Elate account. This is also the username you use to log in.
4

Check your email

Open your inbox and look for a password reset email from Elate. Click the link inside the email to open the reset form.
5

Set your new password

Enter a new password of your choice. Once confirmed, your password is updated and you can sign in immediately using your new credentials.
If the reset email does not appear in your inbox within a few minutes, check your Spam or Junk folder. Email filters sometimes route automated messages there. If you still cannot find it, confirm with your manager or admin that the correct email address is registered on your account.
If you were given a temporary password when your account was first created, use this same process to replace it with a permanent password of your own. There is no separate flow for temporary passwords — the Forgot Password link handles both scenarios.
