The Team Dashboard is where you manage everyone in your organisation who uses Elate. From here, you can add new team members, update their roles and permissions, and troubleshoot login problems. Keeping your team list accurate ensures that the right people have access to the right areas of the platform.

Adding a Team Member

Navigate to the Team Dashboard

Open the Team Dashboard from the left-hand navigation menu.

Click Add Team Member

Select the Add Team Member button to open the creation form.

Fill in the required details

Enter the team member’s details, including their name, contact information, and assigned roles and permissions. Roles control which areas of Elate the team member can access, so assign these carefully based on their responsibilities.

Submit the form

Click Submit to finalise the record. The team member will receive an activation email at the address you provided.
If you need to add several team members at once, use the bulk add feature to save time. After filling in the first record, click the + button next to the form to open a new blank entry alongside it. Repeat for as many team members as you need, then click Save to submit them all at once. Use the delete icon to remove any entry before you submit if you added one by mistake. This is especially useful when onboarding a new cohort of staff.

Adjusting Roles and Permissions

You can update a team member’s access at any time — for example, if they change role or take on additional responsibilities.

Select the team member

From the Team Dashboard, find and click on the team member whose permissions you want to change.

Open Team Member Details

Click the Team Member Details tab within their profile.

Click Edit

Select the Edit button to make the profile editable.

Update roles and permissions

Adjust the relevant role or permission settings to reflect the team member’s current responsibilities.

Save your changes

Click Save to apply the updated settings. The changes take effect immediately.

Troubleshooting Login Issues

Team member has not received the activation email

If a new team member cannot find their activation email, they can still set up their password using the standard reset flow.

Go to the Elate login page

Direct the team member to the Elate login page.

Click Forgot Password

They should click Forgot Password, located at the bottom right of the screen underneath the Sign In button.

Enter the registered email address

Ask them to enter the email address that was used when their account was created. This must match exactly.

Follow the reset instructions

They will receive a password reset email. Following the link in that email allows them to set their password and access their account.
The activation email is sent to the address you entered when creating the team member’s account. If they still cannot find it after checking their spam or junk folder, confirm that the correct email address was used and, if needed, create the account again with the right address.
